This year, AIGA DFW wants to call attention to the people who helped shape DFW’s design aesthetic, community and strength with our Seasoned Pros speaker series. Each season, we’ll be hearing from those with the expertise, experience, personality and style that helped shape our city’s design community.
This fall, we welcome the pros behind Pannell St. George: Cap Pannell and Carol St. George. Both graduated with BFA degrees from the University of North Texas. Cap has been a designer/illustrator since 1971, when he worked with Stan Richards and Associates, now The Richards Group, in Dallas. Carol began her career as a writer/art director in 1976 and is now the principal writer and editor for Pannell St. George.
Today, they are Pannell St. George: a multi-discipline advertising, design, and illustration studio founded in 1984. The firm conceives, designs, art directs, writes and produces advertising, corporate identity, packaging, direct mail and collateral for clients such as Boy’s Life magazine, Boy Scouts of America, Parkland Hospital, Meadows Foundation, Newsweek, NorthPark, Rutgers University, SMU, Stolichnaya Vodka, The Salvation Army, TGI Fridays, University of Notre Dame, University of Texas, and the US Postal Service.
