We are excited to kick off the ninth edition of The Deck, and this year promises to be as bold, bright, and inspiring as ever! Join us as we reveal the theme for The Deck 2025 and be among the first to claim a card to design.

The Deck is an annual collaborative project for which 54 community members each design a unique playing card, resulting in a beautifully printed, limited-edition deck of themed playing cards. Attend this kickoff party event to mingle with Dallas creatives, get involved in this showcase of local talent, and make new connections during our rooftop social hour. Whether you are a returning participant or discovering The Deck for the first time, don’t miss your chance to join one of the most anticipated design projects of the year.

Join us at 6PM on the HG Sply rooftop for a social hour. We will announce the theme and accept sign-ups for card designs at 7pm. Spots to design a card are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, so be sure to snag your ticket today!

Both members and non-members are welcome to attend and sign up to design a card, but your membership status does need to be active before your design template is released. 

Getting There

There are very large parking lots on the west side of Greenville Ave which can be accessed from Sears, Alta, and Lewis streets. We'll be on the rooftop; walk to the back of HG Sply and head up the staircase to join us.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, this gorgeous rooftop venue does not have an elevator, so attendees must climb steps in order to join this event. If you are unable to climb stairs but interested in participating, please contact thedeck@aigadfw.org so that we can plan a way to accommodate your participation together.

An RSVP on LinkedIn or any other social media is not a formal event registration. You must acquire an event ticket via our website to gain access. Your registration constitutes permission to use photos, audio and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional and educational purposes in connection with AIGA, corresponding publications, archives, and online. Ticket rates are based on AIGA membership status at the time of registration. AIGA memberships are non-transferable.
