Yiwen Yu, Mentor Match Chair
The AIGA Dallas Mentor Match Program connects members of our creative community with experienced professionals who can provide guidance, encouragement, industry insight, and meaningful career support. Mentorship isn’t just for students or those beginning their careers. We extend this program to AIGA members at every stage of their professional journey. Whether you’re a student entering the design world, an emerging professional finding your path, a mid-career creative considering your next move, a seasoned designer stepping into leadership, or someone navigating a career transition, Mentor Match is designed to meet you where you are. Participants are thoughtfully matched based on their goals, areas of interest, professional experience, mentor expertise, availability, and preferred meeting style. Mentorship may focus on topics such as career development, portfolio guidance, leadership, UX/UI, branding, creative direction, freelancing, entrepreneurship, job transitions, networking, accessibility, emerging technology, or simply having an experienced creative professional to turn to for perspective. Our goal is simple: to create meaningful connections within the AIGA Dallas community and help our members learn, grow, and support one another—no matter where they are in their careers.
