What is The Deck? The Deck is AIGA Dallas’ annual community design project that brings together 54 local creatives—each designing a single, unique playing card around a shared theme. Since its launch in 2017, The Deck has grown into a celebrated, collectible series that showcases the power of community, creativity, and collaboration in the Dallas–Fort Worth design scene.
Why It Matters: The Deck is more than just playing cards—it’s a living archive of DFW’s design culture. Each year’s theme challenges designers to push their creative boundaries while connecting with a broader audience. It’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger, elevate local talent, and support a community-driven art project.
