The Winter months are upon us and what better time to learn some new skills as we get closer to 2021? AIGA DFW is kicking off December with an exciting typography workshop from Bobby Cerda, a Senior Designer at 81Eighty and custom hand letterer. Bobby is a UTA graduate who has since mastered the art of custom hand lettering for clients such as the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T and District Barbershop.

In this workshop, learn how to bring your typography to life in real-world photos. Bobby will show you how to craft gorgeous hand lettering projects and integrate them into environments with stunning detail. Bobby has a lot of experience in taking flat typography and adding depth to his lettering that often blends the real world.

The event will kick off with a brief meet and greet before we enter into the virtual workshop. It's recommended to have Procreate on an iPad. It’s available for only $9.99 on the App Store. No iPad or Procreate? No sweat! You'll still learn lots of great skills to apply to your own work regardless of the tools you use.
