Kick off your Spring 2022 semester by hopping into this virtual luncheon and enjoy conversations with fellow design educators. We’ll chat tactics for empowering students, review a collection of design educator resources, and hear from a special guest speaker: Randy Clark.
Professor Randy Clark of Wenzhou-Kean University will join us live from China to discuss the impacts of cultural differences in design education and lessons learned through teaching design in a different culture. After 16 years at South Dakota State University, he left a tenured position to begin a new adventure as an Assistant Professor of Design in China in 2016, and has comparative observations between the two cultures and teaching pedagogies.
Snag a ticket, prep your favorite lunch, and click into your seat at our virtual lunch table. We’ll launch open conversations to share ideas and techniques, so be ready to ask questions, explore answers, and leave with an amplified passion for design education.
Register today and join us Friday, January 7th for a unique opportunity to learn how design education can transcend cultural barriers and affect everything we do and create.
