Ready for The Deck 2020?! In its fourth year, The Deck will include 52 cards individually illustrated by DFW creatives. Getting a spot to design a card face has become extremely coveted, on a first-come first-served basis. So join us for happy hour on February 6 where we'll reveal the theme, toast to 2020, and invite attendees to select their own cards to illustrate.

Be sure to look for Blanks Printing and Olmsted-Kirk Paper at the kickoff -- their expertise in printing, packaging, and paper selection made The Deck 2019 a huge success. They are generous in joining forces with us once again to bring you The Deck 2020. Come say hi and learn all the awesome things they do for us, and could be doing for you!

Each year, The Deck serves as a time capsule, documenting the changing face of design in the DFW community, via beautifully boxed collections. In 2019, 52 creatives each designed a card to collectively form a Go Fish deck; 78 members participated in building a tarot deck in 2018; 52 designers illustrated playing cards for The Deck 2017. We can't wait to see the amazing collection of local design work that will be documented in The Deck 2020.

Join us at Braindead Brewing to select your card, enjoy a cocktail, meet local designers, and hang out with the amazing print and paper partners who make it all possible. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend this free event.

Getting There

Metered parking and paid parking lots available throughout streets of Deep Ellum. Generally paid parking lots are $2 on weekdays. This venue is within 5 minutes walking from Dart Green Line's Deep Ellum Station.

Accessibility

Braindead Brewing has 5-6 stairs to get up to the patio area and enter into the brewery. Seating is available with bench seats and tables inside.
