Join us at “Get Unstuck!” to get access to creative professionals ready to share how they’ve successfully navigated around the biggest blockers on their career paths. We’ve assembled professionals from various industries and design backgrounds to answer those tricky questions you might not be able to ask your boss in a safe –and fun– environment.

This isn’t a lecture or panel: it’s a chance to engage with heavy-hitters across the design industry one-on-one, discuss challenges you’ve encountered on your unique professional journey, and get advice that’s actually worked.

Whether you want to move up, switch industries, switch careers, or you just get a different perspective on your current situation, we’ll have an advisor on hand to support you with tips they learned on their journey.

HOW IT WORKS

1. REGISTER. After registering for the event, we’ll release details about the advisors including their name, role, expertise, career level, and more.
2. PICK YOUR PROS. You’re in complete control. When you arrive at the event, you’ll sign up for three 20-minute private meetings with the seasoned professionals of your choice for targeted, yet casual conversations to get your career back on track. You’ll also have two open 20-minute slots in your schedule that can be used to refresh, grab a bite, and connect with other attendees who may have valuable insights of their own.

IMPORTANT: This event is for mid-level professionals and does not include portfolio review or job interview tips.

Getting There

Apprentice Creative Space is located inside The Oak Cliff Assembly, located on the corner of Morrell Ave and Fernwood Ave. Please leave the few parking spaces facing the building along Fernwood Ave for those needing ADA access to the building and instead use the parking lot on the other side of Fernwood Ave. Walk past the orange lighthouse doors and follow the stone path along Morrell Ave until you see the doors for Suite 110 on your right. That is the main entrance to Apprentice Creative Space.

Accessibility

The main entrance is not ADA compliant but there is an entrance off Fernwood Ave that is. Park in one of the spaces along the building and then look for the glass double doors with the 919 address above it. You will come in and turn right and follow the hallway to the back entrance for Apprentice Creative Space.

An RSVP on LinkedIn or Facebook is not a formal event registration. You must acquire an event ticket via our website to gain access.
