Let's face it. Designers are great at conveying the client's message. But designers are usually lousy presenters. The way we present ourselves at new business meetings plays a significant role in our winning the project. And the way we present our design solutions has an impact on selling our favorite concepts. I'd like to share my thoughts on what works and what does not work in new business and design solution presentations.
Jeff Williams joined frog in 1999 and worked his way up to his current position of Creative Director. While at frog, Jeff has participated on and managed creative teams responsible for the conception and development of e-commerce sites and user
interface design for clients including AT&T, Blockbuster, Dell, Hawaiian Airlines, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, PeopleSoft, SAP, and T-Mobile. Jeff’s strong business acumen helps ensure both client business objectives and end-user objectives are met. Jeff is also very active in frog’s new business efforts.
Prior to joining frog, Jeff ran his own studio for two years in Austin, Texas. Before starting out on his own, Jeff worked at Pentagram Design. Jeff earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He also studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
